Terms of Service & Community Guidelines
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or contributing content, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines below. If you do not agree, you may still browse, but you may not contribute.
2. The Service
DefineMine is a literary gallery where people write one-line personal definitions of curated words and browse others'. Browsing is open to everyone; contributing (writing, appreciating, saving, suggesting) requires an account. The Korean and English galleries are separate worlds; content is not translated between them.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
4. Your account
Sign-in is provided via Apple or Google. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity under it.
5. Your content
You own what you write. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the service and its features — galleries, curation, word of the day, quote-card images — and for reasonable promotion of the service. This license ends for content you delete, except for transient cached copies and quote-card images already shared by users. Private words are visible only to you and are not published.
6. Community Guidelines
DefineMine is a quiet gallery. The following are not allowed in any content (definitions, notes, profiles, suggestions, collection names):
- Illegal content or activity
- Any sexual content involving minors — zero tolerance; reported to relevant authorities
- Sexually explicit content
- Hate speech or discrimination based on protected attributes
- Harassment, bullying, or threats against any person
- Promotion or glorification of violence, self-harm, or suicide
- Sharing others' personal information (doxxing) or impersonating others
- Spam, advertising, solicitation, or repetitive or automated posting
- Content that infringes intellectual property or other rights
Prohibited behavior includes: harassing other users, evading blocks or moderation, submitting knowingly false reports, scraping or automated access, and attempting to compromise the security of the service.
7. Moderation and user tools
You can report content by category, block users, and hide definitions from your view. We review reports and may hide or remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Guidelines — with or without prior notice in the case of severe violations. To appeal a moderation decision, contact support@definemine.app.
8. Word suggestions
Word suggestions are candidates for the curated gallery. We may use, adapt, or decline them at our discretion, without obligation or compensation.
9. Our property
The service, its design, curation, and branding belong to us. These Terms do not grant you rights to them beyond normal use of the service.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account, or https://definemine.app/account/delete). We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
11. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are subject to the competent court determined under Korean law.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Changes will be announced in advance in the app or on the website; material changes that are unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
이용약관 및 커뮤니티 가이드라인
제1조 (동의)
계정을 생성하거나 콘텐츠를 기여하는 경우 본 약관 및 아래 커뮤니티 가이드라인에 동의한 것으로 봅니다. 동의하지 않는 경우 열람은 가능하나 기여할 수 없습니다.
제2조 (서비스)
DefineMine(생각의 전시회)은 큐레이션된 단어에 대한 한 줄 정의를 쓰고 다른 사람의 정의를 감상하는 문학 갤러리입니다. 열람은 누구에게나 열려 있으며, 기여(작성·공감·저장·제안)에는 계정이 필요합니다. 한국어와 영어 갤러리는 분리된 세계이며, 콘텐츠는 상호 번역되지 않습니다.
제3조 (이용 자격)
계정 생성은 만 14세 이상(또는 해당 지역 법령상 최소 연령 이상)만 가능합니다.
제4조 (계정)
로그인은 Apple 또는 Google 계정으로 제공됩니다. 계정 보안을 유지할 책임과 계정에서 발생한 활동에 대한 책임은 이용자에게 있습니다.
제5조 (이용자 콘텐츠)
작성한 콘텐츠의 소유권은 이용자에게 있습니다. 콘텐츠를 게시함으로써 이용자는 운영자에게 서비스 및 그 기능(갤러리, 큐레이션, 오늘의 단어, 인용 카드 이미지) 내에서의 호스팅·저장·게시·복제·배포와 합리적인 서비스 홍보를 위한 비독점적·전세계적·무상 이용 허락을 부여합니다. 이 허락은 콘텐츠 삭제 시 종료됩니다. 다만 일시적 캐시 사본과 이용자들이 이미 공유한 인용 카드 이미지는 예외입니다. 나만의 단어는 본인에게만 표시되며 공개되지 않습니다.
제6조 (커뮤니티 가이드라인)
DefineMine은 조용한 전시장입니다. 모든 콘텐츠(정의, 부연 글, 프로필, 제안, 컬렉션 이름)에서 다음을 금지합니다.
- 불법적인 콘텐츠 또는 활동
- 미성년자가 관련된 일체의 성적 콘텐츠 — 무관용 원칙, 관계 기관에 신고
- 성적으로 노골적인 콘텐츠
- 보호되는 속성에 근거한 혐오 발언 또는 차별
- 특정인에 대한 괴롭힘, 따돌림, 위협
- 폭력·자해·자살의 조장 또는 미화
- 타인의 개인정보 유포(신상 공개) 또는 사칭
- 스팸, 광고, 홍보, 반복적·자동화된 게시
- 지식재산권 등 타인의 권리를 침해하는 콘텐츠
금지 행위: 다른 이용자에 대한 괴롭힘, 차단·운영 조치의 우회, 고의적 허위 신고, 스크래핑 또는 자동화된 접근, 서비스 보안을 침해하려는 시도.
제7조 (운영 조치 및 이용자 도구)
이용자는 사유를 선택해 콘텐츠를 신고하고, 다른 이용자를 차단하고, 특정 정의를 내 화면에서 숨길 수 있습니다. 운영자는 신고를 검토하며, 가이드라인을 위반한 콘텐츠의 숨김·삭제, 기능 제한, 계정의 이용 정지 또는 해지 조치를 할 수 있습니다. 중대한 위반의 경우 사전 통지 없이 조치할 수 있습니다. 운영 조치에 대한 이의는 support@definemine.app 으로 제기할 수 있습니다.
제8조 (단어 제안)
단어 제안은 큐레이션 갤러리의 후보로 접수됩니다. 운영자는 제안을 재량으로 채택·수정·반려할 수 있으며, 이에 대한 의무나 보상은 발생하지 않습니다.
제9조 (서비스에 대한 권리)
서비스와 그 디자인, 큐레이션, 브랜드에 대한 권리는 운영자에게 있습니다. 본 약관은 통상적인 서비스 이용 범위를 넘어서는 권리를 부여하지 않습니다.
제10조 (해지)
이용자는 언제든 계정을 삭제할 수 있습니다(설정 → 계정 삭제, 또는 https://definemine.app/account/delete). 운영자는 본 약관을 위반한 계정의 이용을 정지하거나 해지할 수 있습니다.
제11조 (보증의 부인)
서비스는 "있는 그대로", "제공 가능한 범위에서" 제공됩니다. 운영자는 서비스의 중단 없는 운영이나 오류 없음을 보증하지 않습니다.
제12조 (책임 제한)
법령이 허용하는 최대 범위에서, 운영자는 서비스 이용으로 발생한 간접적·부수적·결과적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다. 본 조항은 관련 법령상 소비자의 강행적 권리를 제한하지 않습니다.
제13조 (준거법 및 관할)
본 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따르며, 분쟁은 민사소송법상 관할법원에 제기합니다.
제14조 (약관의 변경)
운영자는 본 약관을 변경할 수 있습니다. 변경 시 앱 또는 웹사이트를 통해 사전에 공지하며, 이용자에게 불리한 중대한 변경은 최소 30일 전에 공지합니다. 시행일 이후 서비스를 계속 이용하는 경우 변경에 동의한 것으로 봅니다.
